Our story begins on the slopes of Bald Mountain, where our Great Uncle Tony Shearer first found the spring. His discovery made it possible for his siblings to live on the mountain, drawing water, strength, and comfort from that clear, steady source. One of those siblings was our grandma, Ruth Steeves.
Ruth and her family lived close to the land and to the spring. They listened to the wind in the pines, learned the plants by season and song, and passed that knowledge and their love of the spring to each new generation.
Today, Charm Springs Wildcraft & Co carries that wisdom forward in Genese, Colorado. We gather herbs, craft small-batch goods, and meet our community at market, always with the same intention: to nourish, ground, and give thanks.
As the world grows and changes, it becomes harder to protect and share the spring in the way our elders once did. Through our work, we honor this place, care for it with respect, and keep its story alive so future generations can still feel its magic.
Our mission is to help people learn how to care for themselves in a natural, informed way.
We believe real healing starts with listening to your body, slowing down, and choosing what truly supports your whole self body, mind, and spirit.
We work with plants, minerals, and simple ingredients that come from the earth, not a lab.
Our products are made in small batches, using organic herbs, clean oils, and gentle methods that protect their natural power.
We avoid harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and fillers that can confuse or stress the body.
We invite you to explore, use our resources in order to educate yourself; about what you put on and in your body.
Our hope is that each tea, salve, skin care, or other healing products becomes a small daily ritual of care, a way to reconnect with nature, remember your own wisdom, and support your body’s natural ability to heal.
